Advice 7: Warm spacer bar

Warm spacer bar is the bar dividing the glasses made from a material that does not conduct heat, e.g. plastic.

These spacer bars limit the annoying vapour obscuring the window and heat loss. This effect is most noticeable in winter, when the differences between temperatures on both sides of the window are the largest.

Spacer bars are sold in a few colours that one can match to the colour of the veneer and seals, improving the final visual effect of the window. The more expensive model, Powertherm, has warm spacer bar by default, in other models they are optional equipment added for a modest fee.
